How Boombox moves
Boombox sets your lyrics as text typed out letter by letter, scrolling up like a terminal. Each line cuts to the next. As it plays, the word being sung changes colour. They are set in glowing letters. A 3D boombox fills the frame, its display scrolling the lyrics while the tape turns.
On the beat, and the finish
On the song's hits the frame punches in. A quiet song barely moves it; a drop hits hard. The picture is finished with film grain and drifting light leaks. A title card opens the video before the first line and closes it after the last.
Your song in Boombox
Every word is timed to the vocals, so each one moves when it is sung. Every Look in this style keeps these moves and brings its own picture, colours and type, in 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube and 1:1 for posts. Start from one of its Looks, or let the director design a new Look in this style for your song.
