Kinetune

Terms of Service

Effective October 6, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and 9433-8290 Québec inc., the Québec company that operates Kinetune. They cover the app at kinetune.com and the Kinetune API, MCP server, CLI and n8n node. By opening an account or using any of them, you accept these terms.

The service

Kinetune turns songs you upload into lyric videos and Spotify Canvas loops. You can use it in the app, through the REST API, from AI agents through the MCP server, from the command line, and in n8n workflows.

We improve Kinetune continuously and may change or remove features. If a change reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll tell you before it takes effect.

Your account

You must be an adult (the age of majority where you live) to open an account, and the information you give us must be accurate. Keep your password and API keys secret: you're responsible for what happens under your account and your keys, including by members you invite to an organization. Organization owners manage billing and membership.

Credits, plans and payment

  • Videos are paid in credits. Every order shows its exact credit quote before anything is charged. Credits are taken only when a video is delivered, and a render that fails returns its credits automatically.
  • Plans renew every month or every year until you cancel, and include a monthly credit allowance. Monthly credits are used first and don't carry over to the next month. Credit packs never expire.
  • Credits have no cash value. They can be refunded only as our Refund Policy describes.
  • Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added where it applies.
  • If you turn on auto-reload, we buy the credit pack you chose whenever your balance falls below your threshold, up to the monthly maximum you set.
  • You can cancel a plan at any time in Settings, Billing. You keep your plan and its monthly credits until the end of the period you paid for.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it processes payments, charges sales tax, issues receipts and invoices, and handles billing questions and refunds. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchases.

Your content

You keep every right you have in the songs, lyrics, cover art, artist photos and other material you upload. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, analyse and transform that material only to run Kinetune for you: to transcribe and analyse songs, design Looks, render and store your videos, and show them to you and the people you share them with.

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you upload, including the music and the consent of every person shown in a photo.

Videos and Looks you make

The videos you make are yours to download, publish and monetise, subject to the rights in your own material and to the licences of the stock media (the Pexels licence) and fonts (open licences) they include. We claim no ownership of the AI images and loops made for your videos. AI output can resemble existing material, so review your videos before you publish them.

When you make a Look public, other users can use it to make their own videos. Making it private again stops new uses; videos already made aren't affected.

Acceptable use

Don't use Kinetune to:

  • infringe copyright or anyone else's rights;
  • show a real person without their consent, or impersonate someone;
  • make sexual content involving minors, or content that is hateful, harassing or incites violence;
  • break the law;
  • overload, probe or get around the limits and security of the service or its API.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Ending your use

You can stop using Kinetune and delete your account at any time. Owners first transfer or delete the organizations they own. We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, fraud or unpaid charges, and we'll tell you why when we can. Unused credits on a closed account are refunded only as our Refund Policy describes or where the law requires.

Availability and changes to these terms

We work to keep Kinetune available but can't promise it will never be interrupted, so keep your own copies of delivered videos. We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll email account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect, and using Kinetune after that date means you accept the new terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Kinetune is provided as is, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived, including Québec's Consumer Protection Act.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Québec, unless consumer law lets you bring them where you live.
