How Block stack moves
Block stack is kinetic typography: the lyrics are the hero and fill the frame. It sets them as a block built word by word, short words growing to fill its width. The words pop in and blur away. The long, held words stand out in an accent colour.
On the beat, and the finish
On the song's hits the frame punches in and jolts. A quiet song barely moves it; a drop hits hard. The picture is finished with film grain. A title card opens the video before the first line and closes it after the last.
Your song in Block stack
Every word is timed to the vocals, so each one moves when it is sung. Every Look in this style keeps these moves and brings its own picture, colours and type, in 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube and 1:1 for posts. Start from one of its Looks, or let the director design a new Look in this style for your song.
